Tunisia has a long and rich history. Over times Tunisia has been ruled by many different countries, among others Roman Empire, Turky and France.

Tunisian coins have been denominated in sultani and half sultani, later in piastres, changing to francs under the French (1891-1960). From the beginning of the Republic, they are denominated in dinars.

Our coins are from the time that Tunisia was under the French.
